The Democrats think that if  we have hope and are inspired, things will get better. When we fly in an airplane, we want an experienced pilot, not one who can inspire hope in us that he will get us to our destination. When we pay our taxes, we want the person filing them to be experienced, not the novice who inspires hope in us that he will do then properly. When we hire someone to fix our washing machine, we want the tried and true experienced person, not the one who inspires us to hope that he can fix it. When we are sick, we do not want to get the doctor who inspires hope in us that he can cure what's wrong, but the one who knows what the hell to do to heal us. It's not the job of public servants to inspire us so that we hope they get the job done. The people demand someone who we have faith in, to get the job done. --- R. Barr
